What's the difference between Managed AI and BYOK?

On Managed AI plans, we pay the AI provider and you pay us a flat monthly rate. With BYOK, you use your own Anthropic / OpenAI / Google / OpenRouter API key — we relay your prompts through it without storing them, you pay your AI provider directly, and we charge a flat monthly fee for cloud-run allowance and the OffCoder Service.

Is there a free way to use OffCoder?

Yes — two ways, both always free. The Free plan runs AI fully on-device (Qwen-Coder + Phi-mini on your phone) with no cloud calls or cloud runs. Free BYOK relays prompts through your own AI key with no OffCoder charge for relay — you pay your AI provider directly.

Do credit packs cover AI features?

No. Credits cover cloud runs, 1 preview link, and 1 database — they don't apply to AI features. For AI you need a managed plan or BYOK. Credit packs are one-shot purchases with no subscription.

Can I combine BYOK with a managed plan?

Yes — existing Pro / Max users can stack BYOK alongside their managed plan.

Can I cancel? What about refunds?

You can cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your paid period. We don't pro-rate partial-month refunds, and top-up credits are non-refundable once issued. Refund eligibility is defects-only — see our refund policy.
